About This Part
Never is an Armor Tip Hasbro released for the Burst System's QuadDrive line, built from the Never Driver; it debuted in western countries in the Cyclone Fury String Launcher Set. Fitted onto a QuadDrive Driver it becomes the stadium contact point in "Plus Mode" at roughly SpeedStorm Driver height, and works best paired with a high-Burst-Resistance driver such as Orbit-Q; it keeps the Never Driver's sharp, non-free-spinning tip but strips away the surrounding polyoxymethylene (POM) plastic.
In Play
The bare sharp tip gives very low floor friction and so high Stamina, but that same low friction leaves Never combinations prone to Knock-Outs. Competitive players call it collection-only in the Burst format, since it only fits outclassed Hasbro Layers, and rate it outclassed by the Kick and Revolve Armor Tips in both the Burst Limited and Burst Classic formats.
