In Play

4 is heavy for an Armor but hollow toward its centre, which gives it poor weight distribution that can tip a combination over, so it is best kept to Attack combinations for raw weight, and even there is outclassed by 0 and 2; it is a welcome but not essential Armor for the WBO's Burst format and is not legal in Burst GT, Burst Limited, or Burst Classic.

The Competitive View

Its extended protrusions give high Outward Weight Distribution and stamina potential; its extra weight over base Disks (Heavy, Gravity) boosts Knock-Out resistance, and pairing with Cross or Glaive Frames adds Life-After-Death. Compared to 8 (more stamina), 4 offers comparable stamina with better Burst resistance thanks to its lighter weight and lower OWD.

Verdict as the draft gives it: A must-have Disk, central to Stamina and Defense combinations, especially with Cross/Glaive Frames.

  • Symmetrical, elliptical shape; two protrusions per side, one shaped like "4" and one like the Roman numeral "IV"
  • Heavier than base Disks like Heavy and Gravity
