Description

Released in July 1999, Saizo was the second Beyblade ever to reach shelves, a Stamina-Type Spin Gear System build later succeeded by Saizo (Burst) in the manga. Its bit chip carries art lifted straight from the early Next Generation Beigoma Battle: Beyblade video game, built out with a Tri-Cutter attack ring, Heavy weight disk and Sharp blade base.

SlotPartWeightSpinNote
Attack Ring Tri Cutter (aka Trycutter, Tricutter) 2.2 g Right only One of the two lightest Attack Rings of the generation (alongside Star Shape); small enough to mostly avoid contact under Wide Survivor, but its shape is so recoil-prone that it inevitably gets hit late in a match, hurting Survival, Spin-Stealing, Compact, and Defensive use, and it has no worthwhile contact points for Attack.
Weight Disk Heavy 15.3 g The single most compact weight distribution of any Weight Disk, though its weight varies more than most and buyers should check individual copies; large corners can cause some recoil on hits, offset somewhat by the compact spread.
Blade Base Sharp Base 8.3 g Some Life-After-Death but fairly limited; the sharp tip lacks stability and defensive ability and barely moves.

Weights are single copies weighed on their own; a part can vary by a few tenths of a gram.
