Comets

The Comets, called the Bombers in Japan, are a Beyblade Burst Surge team fronted by brothers Hikaru and Hyuga Hizashi under coach Rantaro Kiyama, rebuilt after most of the original roster quit when a previous coach left.

What to know

  • The Japanese dub's rock-paper-scissors 'bomb' gag in episode 1B may allude to the team's Japanese name, the Bombers.
  • A flashback in episode 4 reveals the team once had many more members before a mass exodus following the former coach's departure.
  • Surviving veterans before the Hizashi brothers joined were Guy, Chuck, and Reina.
  • Rantaro Kiyama becomes the team's new coach and has a personal history with the club, referenced when Silas Karlisle asks him about it.
  • Hikaru and Hyuga each cycle through several named Bey configurations across the season (the Kolossal/Helios Volcano/Komet Helios line and the Super Hyperion/Hyperion Burn/Stellar Hyperion line).
