Ranzo Kiyama is the tritagonist of Beyblade Burst QuadDrive and QuadStrike, a high-energy Brazilian blader and cousin to Rantaro and Ranjiro Kiyama who travels to Japan chasing a challenge with Bel Daizora, the 'Dark Prince.' After Bel accidentally destroys his inherited Glide Roktavor, Bel helps him evolve it into Cyclone Roktavor, and the two become close friends despite their rocky start, with Ranzo staying by Bel's side through the Belfyre storyline. He's known for overreacting to wins and losses and constantly calling everyone 'amigo.'

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tall and tanned, Ranzo has orange eyes, blonde hair spiralling upward, and three bandage strips, a tan one across his nose and a white one on each cheek. He wears an orange T-shirt with a red-outlined white 'R' on the chest and brown sleeve ends, a green bandana at his neck, orange sunglasses pushed up onto his forehead, a red sleeveless jacket, light-blue shorts broken up with black triangular panels, and red-and-yellow high-top shoes. Like Rantaro and Ranjiro before him, he keeps a lollipop in his mouth, his own coloured blue and yellow.

Ranzo runs on high energy, throwing himself into every Beybattle with a friendliness some people find overwhelming rather than charming. He swings hard between extremes when a match ends, once spinning Bashara around in delight and dancing after beating Bel. His amigos matter more to him than almost anything: he searches for Bashara when he vanishes, cries on hearing Bashara beg to fight Bel, and always picks Bashara as his practice partner. He cheers Bel on and grieves with him when Destruction Belfyre is shattered and the Gates of Hell close, later helping Hannah bring Bel back to reviving Belfyre and standing by him ever since. When he gets fired up, like on seeing Bel build the V Gear, he bites down on his lollipop.
