Biography
Gingka Hagane is the manga protagonist of Metal Fight Beyblade, a calm, optimistic blader who inherits Pegasus 105F after his father Ryo's apparent death fighting Ryuga's L-Drago. Across the Dark Nebula arc, Battle Bladers, Big Bang Bladers, and beyond, Pegasus repeatedly evolves — into Storm, Galaxy, Cosmic, and eventually Samurai Pegasus — as Gingka defeats Ryuga, Doji, Damian Hart, and TERA Sports' Big Lord across escalating tournaments, always drawing strength from his growing circle of friends and rivals like Kyoya Tategami and Masamune Kadoya.
Appearance and personality
What They Look Like, and How They Behave
Tall and slim with notably long, skinny limbs, Gingka wears long spiky red hair and keeps his eyes fixed on the future. A bandage sits across his nose, along with a replica of his father's headband. Under his short-sleeved jacket sits a plain t-shirt, a scarf wound around his neck; skinny jeans held by his belt carry a second belt for his gear, worn with fingerless gloves and distinctive shoes on each foot.
Calm, friendly and relentlessly optimistic, Gingka chooses to see the good side of things even after watching his father apparently die, blaming only Ryuga and Doji rather than dwelling on it. He stays confident without tipping into arrogance, shows real sportsmanship, and treats rivals as friends after a fight, everyone except Ryuga and Reiji getting that gesture. He lives for the thrill of a hard-fought battle and never turns down a strong opponent, and he refuses to let Beyblade be used to hurt people, turning fiercely serious when friends are threatened by it. He draws his strength in battle from the bonds he has built with everyone around him.
