Biography

Bashara Suiro is a supporting Blader in Beyblade Burst QuadDrive, the elder brother of Hanna Suiro and son of Moné Suiro. A skilled strategist who develops counters mid-battle, he starts the series with his Lightning Bey Demise Spellscraper before abandoning it under Rashad Goodman's influence to build his own Quad Bey, Roar Balkesh, at BC Sol's workshop. Easily spooked by pranks and monsters, he idolizes rival Bel Daizora and chases the goal of surpassing him, eventually taking second place at the World Youth Challenge after training with Rashad.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Average in build, Bashara has orange-red eyes, pale skin and pale blue hair cut evenly at chin length. His original outfit pairs a dark-green jacket marked with violet trim and a violet Beyblade symbol on the breast pocket, a white centre stripe and seven gold buttons, with white shorts striped in turquoise and jungle-green boots carrying crimson cuffs and a yellow inner line; a single green, black-cuffed glove covers his right hand. Once he joins Rashad Goodman after the Dynamite Battle Tour, his look shifts to a teal coat echoing the old jacket's details, a light-green dress shirt with a cyan tie, light-brown trousers, and boots much like before except the ankle cuffs are now cyan rather than crimson.

Bashara throws himself into every intense Beybattle with genuine enthusiasm, somehow managing to be calm-minded and excitable in equal measure. He has real strategic talent, working out new ways to counter an opponent's Beyblade before or during a match and sometimes sharing those plans with teammates; that insight feeds a strong self-belief, including a conviction that he can beat anyone, Bel included. For all that confidence, he is easily startled and has fallen for more than one of Bel's pranks over the course of the season. What defines him most, though, is how far he'll go to get stronger — a drive strong enough that he eventually abandoned his own Beyblade and left Bel's group behind just to match or surpass him.

Claims We Could Not Check

  • His surname's kanji means "emerald," matching his green outfit and echoing other Burst characters named for colors.
  • He's the second character to carry a named Bey that didn't debut in its own season, after Toko Aoi's Spiral Treptune.
  • One of only two left-handed characters introduced in QuadDrive, alongside Phelix Payne.
  • Unlike Balkesh's other owners, he keeps his own initials, stays on the main cast, and never plays a villain.
  • He's the only Burst character shown recoloring his own Bey on-screen.
