About This Part

Takara Tomy released Aquario as a Wheel in the Metal System, debuting in Japan inside the BB-21 Bey Custom Set Attack & Balance Type on November 20, 2008. Four textured fins curl around its circumference like waves, separated by empty semicircular gaps added to keep the piece from cracking. Like the Wolf Wheel, its fins point against the spin direction, likely to keep recoil from the fin shape manageable.

In Play

Only the rounded fin edges can land an Attack hit, so its offensive output is middling, and the wide gaps between fins keep it from excelling at Defense or Stamina either, both of which favour a rounder profile. Its Smash Attack was decent when new, but later 4D Wheels and Synchrome System parts left it behind; the community still values it for Tornado Staller combos under the WBO's Limited Format, where many of the parts that outclass it are restricted.
