About This Part
Balance is a six-sided Weight Disk Takara released for the Spin Gear System, debuting with Ultimate Frostic Dranzer in July 1999. At 14 grams it sits between the lighter Wide and heavier Heavy Weight Disks, and its mass is spread evenly around the disk, which in theory suits it to both Defense and Endurance-style builds.
In Play
Despite that theoretical fit, the community notes plenty of other Weight Disks outperform Balance for Defense or Endurance, and even Combination-type builds that could in theory use it turn to better options like Ten Heavy instead; Ten Balance, the heaviest of the Balance line, is the one generally picked when a Balance disk is wanted at all, and the standard version's light weight leaves it with no real competitive role.
