About This Part
Rubber 145, or R145, is a Takara Tomy Spin Track built from three wings of hard rubber, meant to deflect low attackers and cushion impacts. It debuted in Japan on May 22, 2010 with the BB-78 Booster Rock Giraffe R145WB and reached western markets as a Starter Pack in 2011.
In Play
It shares Wide Defense 145's flaw of letting an attacker's wheel get pinched between the wheel and the track, which produces recoil and drains spin, and its wide, low-set shape scrapes the stadium floor and bleeds stamina besides — so the community ranks it below Gravity Ball 145, Boost Disk 145 and 230 as a Defense track.
