About This Part
Left Wing 105, or LW105, is a Takara Tomy Spin Track that debuted in Japan on September 18, 2010 with the BB-88 Starter Meteo L-Drago LW105LF and arrived in western markets in May 2011 through the Triple Battle Set. It reworks the plain 105 track by swapping its handle-bar protrusions for three small wings angled toward the left, aiming to push air upward for extra stamina in the same spirit as Down Force 145.
In Play
The upward push barely registers, so LW105 performs about like an ordinary 105, though its slightly heavier build gives it marginally better defence; the community turns to 105-height tracks for Attack builds mainly when 100, 90 or 85 aren't on hand.
- Debuted in Japan on September 18, 2010 with the BB-88 Starter Meteo L-Drago LW105LF.
- Reached western countries in May 2011 with the Triple Battle Set.
