About This Part
Change Height 120, or CH120, is a Takara Tomy Spin Track that debuted in Japan on March 28, 2009 inside the BB-31 Random Booster Light Vol. 1, reaching western shelves through the BB-31 Starter Pack Dark Gasher CH120FS. Pulling its central section out and rotating the base locks it at 145mm, while pushing it back in and relocking sets it to 120mm, and a Blader can make that switch between rounds without swapping any parts. That flexibility lets a Blader adjust strategy mid-match, and 120mm is a height no other Track offers, which makes it useful for Attack builds; the tradeoff is that hard hits in 145 mode can occasionally knock a copy apart, though unlike Triple Height 170 it usually just needs to be locked back into place.
In Play
Its round-to-round height switch gives Attack Bladers a strategic edge no other Track offers, and the community treats its occasional breakage as a minor, easily fixed flaw rather than a real drawback.
