About This Part
Dranzer MS introduced Manual Change Core, a mode-switching Running Core that lets a Beyblade flip between an attack setting and an endurance setting mid-build. Takara Tomy's and Hasbro's tips differ: the Takara Tomy version can lose its balance at lower spin speeds, while Hasbro gave its tip a semi-flat shape that steadies the balance at the cost of stamina performance.
In Play
In attack mode the extra speed can send a Beyblade flying out of the stadium on its own, an issue made worse on some early Hasbro copies with a wider, flatter base, while endurance mode tends to keep movement pinned near the centre of the stadium, for better or worse depending on the opponent.
- First appeared with Dranzer MS.
- Its mode-change gimmick is compared to Hole Flat/Spike from the Metal Series and to Trans and its variants from the Burst Series.
