About This Part
Bearing Core 2 is a Running Core for the Hard Metal System, released with Jiraiya MS as the successor to Wolborg 2's SG Bearing Version 2. It reuses Bearing Core's casing mold but swaps its plastic tip for a harder rubber one drawn from the same family as Dragoon MF's Metal Weight Grip Flat Core, trading some Survival ability for added Defense, and the taller tip leaves it slightly higher than the original Bearing Core.
In Play
In the smaller Tornado Balance Type S stadium, where a plain Bearing Core is too easily knocked out, Bearing Core 2 becomes the better bearing tip to run, and against strong attackers in larger stadiums it holds up well in Survival and Defense builds alongside parts like Circle Upper or Samurai Upper; a mint tip favours Survival while a worn-down tip favours Defense, so competitive use often comes down to picking or ageing a tip for the matchup.
- Debuted with the release of Jiraiya MS.
