About This Part
Aero Core and Aero Wing together make up a Running Core for the Hard Metal System, first appearing with Aero Knight MS. Aero Core weighs 3 grams and stands about 3.3 centimetres tall, among the tallest running cores in the line and visually close to the Metal Fight Beyblade part 230; Aero Wing, at 6 grams, reuses a helicopter-blade gimmick first seen on the plastic-era Beyblade Trypio, letting the wings be launched and flown on their own.
In Play
The height that makes Aero Core resemble 230 works against it on HMS's narrower bodies, since the added gravitational torque and reduced centrifugal stability make the Beyblade lose its balance faster than an MFB equivalent would; Aero Wing compounds this with heavy air resistance that slows the Beyblade in battle, and if an opponent gets underneath the wing it scrapes the stadium floor and drains both spin and balance.
- Debuted with the release of Aero Knight MS.
