About This Part

Point Flat, abbreviated PF, is a Performance Tip Takara Tomy planned for the Synchrome System but never brought to market. It was meant to ship with Guardian Garudas SD160PF in early 2013, part of the Zero-G toy line, before that line was cancelled outright. Physically it is a Flat-style tip carrying a small pointed spike that barely rises above its base, a concept it shares with the FS and FB tips already on shelves. Its outer rim was sized close to Wide Flat's circumference so that an incoming hit would knock it back toward its starting position rather than off course.

In Play

Because it stalled before release, no competitive record exists for it; the central point was meant to help it hold stamina while the flat rim absorbed and redirected an opponent's attack.

  • Designed by Takara Tomy for the planned BBG-28 Zero-G Random Booster Vol. 4 Guardian Garudas SD160PF in early 2013.
  • Never released after the Zero-G/Shogun Steel toy line was cancelled.
