About This Part

Eternal Spike, sometimes called Eternal Sharp, is a Performance Tip released as part of the Hybrid Wheel System, debuting with Flame Libra T125ES in September 2009. It pairs a free-spinning tip with a metal shaft held inside the Performance Tip's housing, a mechanism fans anticipated heavily before release.

In Play

In practice the community found Eternal Spike disappointing: it lacks the shielded ball bearing that made parts like Bearing Core spin so freely, and its sharp point destabilizes easily, leaving it a mediocre Stamina choice even though the community still ranks it above other ball-tipped and plain spike alternatives.
