About This Part

Blade Semi-Flat widens the standard Semi-Flat tip slightly and rings its base with eight blades angled to the left, a shape meant, like Circle Flat's ring, to catch against the sloped walls of a ZeroG stadium and steady the Beyblade's balance; the down force those blades add is too small to matter much on its own. Takara Tomy debuted it in Japan on July 21, 2012 with the BBG-16 Starter Dark Knight Dragooon LW160BSF, and Hasbro brought it west in August 2013 through the SS-16 Starter Pack Ronin Dragoon LW160BSF.

In Play

In a ZeroG stadium, builds carrying Blade Semi-Flat are notoriously hard to knock out and can wobble for long stretches before pulling their balance back and outlasting an opponent, an effect the community finds even stronger when the tip runs in a Left-Spin combination.
