About This Part
Xeno Xcalibur extended Xcalibur's sword design into the Burst System's Dual Layer System, keeping the long blade running down its length as the main strike point but wrapping it in more elaborate ornamentation. Takara Tomy launched it in Japan on July 2nd, 2016 with the B-48 Starter, Xeno Xcalibur Magnum Impact. Tall teeth again help the Layer absorb its own recoil, and the tip lines up with the sword-shaped protrusions on the Magnum, 1 and 1' Discs after two clicks of rotation.
In Play
The added ornamentation keeps the contact point from protruding quite as far as Xcalibur's, leaving it a slightly outclassed but still capable stand-in with comparable Attack power and strong teeth; the design remains imbalanced toward the sword, which drains Stamina and can break banking patterns, and the SwitchStrike/God Layer System era eventually made it too light to compete, so the community now recommends it for collecting.
- Debuted in Japan on July 2nd, 2016 with the B-48 Starter, Xeno Xcalibur Magnum Impact.
- An early mold was prone to breaking at the handle and blade; a reinforced second mold first appeared in Random Booster Vol. 5 Gigant Gaia.Q.F and carried into every B-48 reprint made from 2017 onward.
- Youngtoys packaged the piece in the BK-01 Beyblade Burst VS Dual Battle Set.
