About This Part
Unicrest is Hasbro's Burst System counterpart to Takara Tomy's Unicorn, sharing its shape but reaching western shelves in the Valtryek and Unicrest Dual Pack with several small changes under the hood. Like the rest of Hasbro's early Burst releases, it swaps the teeth of the Takara Tomy original for an underside slope to manage Bursting, and that steeper slope gives it a real jump in Burst Resistance over Unicorn.
In Play
That defensive gain once made it a top Layer for Defense builds, but Hasbro's lighter materials and extra plastic at the centre only give it average Stamina, and the community now rates it too light to compete once Drain Fafnir F3 and Legend Spryzen S3 arrived, leaving it a collector's piece rather than a tournament pick.
