About This Part
Hasbro's take on Variares launched in western markets inside the B-151 Starter Pack Variares 145WB. It keeps the three-winged, dual-spin shape of the original 4D Metal Wheel, with each wing tapering to a sharp Smash Attack point and a protrusion set between every pair of wings. Unlike the Takara Tomy mould, this version drops the mode-change gimmick entirely, leaving its PC Frame protrusions fixed in the extended position associated with Defense Mode.
In Play
The Hasbro mould also loses a substantial amount of weight compared with the original 4D Metal Wheel, which pushes its already high recoil even higher.
- Debuted in western countries with the B-151 Starter Pack Variares 145WB.
