About This Part
Meteo first shipped in Japan on September 18, 2010 through the BB-88 Starter Meteo L-Drago LW105LF, arriving in the west by May 2011 with the Triple Battle Set, and it is a Takara Tomy Fusion Wheel built exclusively for use with the L-Drago II Energy Ring and its variants. Six protrusions alternate between smooth jaw shapes and rugged claw shapes around its small frame, and much of what touches the stadium floor actually belongs to the Clear Wheel above it rather than to Meteo itself. Repositioning L-Drago II on top switches the pairing between Assault Mode, which covers the claws, and Rapid-Hit Mode, which covers the jaws instead.
In Play
Heavier combinations eventually pushed Meteo out of the standard Metal Fight metagame, but the community still values it in the WBO's Metal Fight Limited format, where its Spin Steal and low attack disruption make it a strong Stamina-Type choice.
