About This Part

Gravity is a Fusion Wheel made by Takara Tomy, debuting in Japan with the BB-80 Starter Gravity Perseus AD145WD on June 26, 2010, and reaching western shelves as the Gravity Destroyer AD145WD Starter Pack in May 2011. It is built to pair with the Destroyer line of Energy Rings, carrying three curved pockets that let a Destroyer ring rotate 180 degrees between a "Counter Mode" and a "Defense Mode." Because it lacks the protrusions that usually lock a wheel to one launch direction, Gravity spins in either direction.

In Play

In Defense Mode the Energy Ring shields Gravity's jagged edges and cuts recoil for stamina- and defense-leaning builds, while Counter Mode exposes those edges for higher recoil and stronger Smash Attack, and the community treats the wheel as a staple across the Destroyer Defense, Attack and Stamina combinations.
