About This Part
Fusion is a Fusion Wheel Takara Tomy released exclusively for the 4D System, issued in Japan on December 28, 2011 inside Random Booster Vol. 9 Fusion Hades. It is built from three pieces, a Metal Frame, a rubber Frame meant to absorb impacts, and a Core, that lock together with a simple square-tooth system, and swapping the positions of the Metal Frame and Rubber Frame switches it between "Balance Mode", where the round Metal Frame sits on top for stability, and "Defense Mode", where the Rubber Frame is exposed for extra shock absorption. The Metal Frame is the heaviest piece at 27.3 grams, with the rubber Frame adding just 4.6 grams and the Core contributing 12.2 grams.

The Competitive View
Fails to match the attack, stability, or stamina of type-specialized Drivers, making it a weak all-rounder rather than a genuinely balanced option.
Verdict as the draft gives it: Never used competitively, as it is outperformed by every other Driver in its intended combo type.
- Weight: 5.6 grams
- Flat base with small sharp central tip, standard Burst driver height
Related parts named in the draft: Deathscyther, Spread.
