About This Part
Firefuse is a Fusion Wheel Hasbro released for the Hybrid Wheel System as its own take on the 4D Metal Wheel Fusion. Unlike the original three-piece design, Firefuse is molded as a single part with no mode-change gimmick, and it drops the rubber components entirely, trading their spin-steal and shock-absorbing ability for a small amount of smash attack instead.
In Play
The thin, lightweight redesign cuts into its defensive potential, and losing both the rubber and the mode-change gimmick removes whatever competitive edge the original Fusion wheel had, so the community treats Firefuse as a collector's item only.
- Debuted in western countries with the B-157 Starter Pack Firefuse Darkhelm 145DS in December 2012.
