About This Part
Duo is a Fusion Wheel Takara Tomy made for the 4D System, debuting in Japan on November 19, 2011 with the BB-121 Beyblade Ultimate DX Set. It is built from a Metal Frame of overlapping spiral ridges, evoking a wind theme, sitting atop a Core with an "A" side for Attack Mode and an "S" side for Stamina Mode; rotating the Metal Frame 90 degrees between the two sides shifts Duo from a balanced circle to a lopsided one, though doing so means taking the Beyblade apart.
In Play
Stamina Mode is the community's clear favourite, holding off attackers like Beat, Variares, and Blitz and pairing especially well with BD145, B:D, and AD145 without needing a metal face bolt of any kind, while Attack Mode's erratic hopping motion, best suited to tracks shorter than TH170 or 230, is rated a niche option at best.
- Debuted in Japan on November 19, 2011 with BB-121 Beyblade Ultimate DX Set.
- A gunmetal-grey Duo Uranus UW145EWD tournament prize was planned but never actually released.
