About This Part
Duo is Hasbro's remake of the Takara Tomy 4D System wheel, released for the Performance Top System and debuting in western countries with the B-160 Duo Ice-Titan 230WD Starter Pack in December 2012. Like other Hasbro 4D remakes it has been hollowed out and stripped of the mode-change gimmick, keeping the circular shape and low recoil of the original but landing closer to Earth in overall performance.
In Play
Heavier 4D Metal Wheels and Synchrome System parts outclass this version in Standard Format, but the community still finds room for it in other defence and stamina builds, calling it a welcome piece for a limited-format competitive collection even as it stays a display item in Standard.
