About This Part
Death is a Fusion Wheel Takara Tomy issued for the 4D System, debuting with BB-119 Death Quetzalcoatl on October 23rd, 2011. Built from a Metal Frame and a Core with no polycarbonate piece, it is one of the heaviest 4D wheels made, and its Metal Frame can be flipped between two positions, giving it a mode-change gimmick tied to a winged-serpent design representing Quetzalcoatl.
In Play
Defense Mode is clearly the stronger of the two settings: its smoother, scaled underside sheds far less recoil than Attack Mode, once making it a rival to Basalt as a top-tier defensive wheel, particularly paired with BD145RDF, though heavier attackers like Wyvang, Balro, and Gryph and defenders like Revizer and Genbull have since outclassed it.
