About This Part
Lyre, also called Lyra, is a Face Bolt Takara Tomy released, debuting in Japan on August 6, 2011 with the BB-116 Random Booster Vol. 8 Jade Jupiter. The design depicts the constellation Lyra, shown as an eagle carrying a lyre in its wings or beak; in Greek mythology the musician Orpheus was killed by the Maenads, and after his lyre was thrown into a river, Zeus sent an eagle to retrieve it, placing both the instrument and Orpheus among the stars. The bolt renders a red and black lyre with eyes and flaming strings on a silver background.
