About This Part
Destroyer, also called Perseus, is a Takara Tomy Face Bolt built around the Greek hero Perseus, one of the 88 constellations, remembered in myth for beheading the gorgon Medusa and later using her severed head as a weapon against Cetus. The art is a Greek gladiator's helmet with "Perseus" printed beneath it; turned upside down, the same lines read as Medusa's face, a nod to Gravity Perseus' special move Eyes of Medusa. It debuted in Japan on June 26, 2010 with the BB-80 Starter Gravity Perseus AD145WD, reaching western shelves in May 2011 on the Gravity Destroyer AD145WD Starter Pack.
