About This Part
Pegasus II, or Pegasis II, followed Pegasus I as Takara Tomy's next Energy Ring for the Hybrid Wheel System, first appearing in Japan when the BB-70 Starter Galaxy Pegasis W105R²F launched on April 1st, 2010, before the Triple Battle Set carried it to western shelves. It keeps the symmetrical wing-and-head design of the original but with much larger, more detailed wings that carry the letters "P E G I" for "Pegasis." At 3.1 grams and a rounder profile, it ranked among the heaviest Energy Rings of its time.
In Play
Heavier rings such as Bull, Aquario and Kerbecs outclass it for Defense builds, so the community treats it as a fallback rather than a first choice, better suited to a collection than to competitive play.
- Debuted in Japan inside the BB-70 Starter Galaxy Pegasis W105R²F on April 1st, 2010.
- Reached western markets through the Triple Battle Set.
- Reissued through numerous CoroCoro exclusives and Random Booster follow-ups, including Big Bang and Sol Pegasis colour variants.
