About This Part

Pegasus I, or Pegasis I, is the first Energy Ring in the Pegasus line, released by Takara Tomy for the Hybrid Wheel System. It debuted in Japan inside the BB-28 Starter Storm Pegasis 105RF on March 28, 2009, and reached western shelves through the Super Vortex Battle Set. Moulded in polycarbonate to sit over the Fusion Wheel for weight spread, its fully symmetrical shape echoes Pegasus' wings and head; sticker art varies by release, from Takara Tomy's "Hybrid" and "Wheel" text to Hasbro's lightning-bolt motifs and, on the Cyber Pegasus 100HF version, circuit-board detailing.

In Play

As one of the earliest Hybrid Wheel System rings, it has since been outpaced by far heavier designs, and the community treats it as a collector's piece rather than a competitive option.
