About This Part
Gladiator is an Element Wheel Takara Tomy released for the Synchrome System. It debuted in Japan on December 1, 2012 with the BBG-27 starter Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF, and Hasbro's SS-27 starter Gladiator Bahamoote SP230GF carried it west. Four half-length swords ring its four-sided body, a nod to the weapons carried by Roman gladiators, and the underside carries the kanji for "God".
In Play
The community keeps Gladiator out of the Metal Fight Standard and 4D formats, since Warrior Wheel pairings and heavier Hybrid Wheels leave it and every other Element Wheel behind; in the WBO's MFB Limited Format its aggressive edges can expose weak points on Warrior Wheels like Pegasus or Behemoth, though Bandit still outperforms it there.
- Debuted in Japan on December 1, 2012 with BBG-27 Gladiator Bahamdia SP230GF.
- Reached western countries as Hasbro's SS-27 Gladiator Bahamoote SP230GF.
