About This Part
SG Jumping Base is a Blade Base built for the Spin Gear System, introduced alongside Trygle. Two wings on its shoulders trip a switch that fires the spring-loaded SG Spring Version tip out of the base, launching the beyblade upward. At 7 grams, the piece exists almost entirely as a novelty rather than a competitive tool.
In Play
The wings snap easily under recoil and the launch itself throws the beyblade off balance, so the best a player can realistically hope for is an accidental knockout rather than a repeatable strategy.
- Debuted with the release of Trygle.
- Its jumping gimmick works much like Shot from the Burst Series.
