Metal Change Base is the Blade Base fitted to Driger S, built with a tip that is sharpest at its very centre but flat across most of its surface, letting it double as either an attack or a survival tip depending on how it lands. Launched straight, it settles on the sharp point for strong survival that beats many bearing-shaft bases such as Wolborg's; launched at a slant, it lands flat and moves in a quick, aggressive attack pattern similar to SG Metal Flat Base on Gaia Dragoon V.

Mid-battle, a hit while it is riding in survival mode will often tip it into attack mode long enough to return a strike before it settles back into survival; a sliding shoot exaggerates this further, sweeping the Beyblade through the stadium's centre while it flips between the two modes. Its round, low-profile shape and balanced metal tip also suit compact combinations built around Tiger Defenser and Ten Heavy. Swapping its tip for another is against the rules.
