Its blunt notches can do real damage on contact in right spin but tend to snap off with regular use, and its roughly 10-degree slope gives weaker Upper Attack than dedicated rings like Upper Dragoon or Triple Tiger, so competitive players recommend it only when better Smash or Upper Attack rings aren't available; sample setups pair it with 10 Wide and Grip Base for a fast, hard-to-control Smash build, or with 10 Heavy, a Heavy Metal Core Spin Gear and Storm Grip Base for its best Upper Attack performance.
