Nightmare Rex SW145SD is a right-spin Balance Type top tied to Agito in the Beyblade: Metal Masters video game, launching alongside that title in Japan on December 10, 2010 and reaching the rest of the world on November 15, 2011. Defeating Agito in-game evolves this top into its successor, Ancient Rex SW145SD, and its stack pairs a Rex Face Bolt and Energy Ring with a Nightmare Fusion Wheel, a Switch 145 Spin Track and a Semi-Defense Performance Tip.

Community testing, Sep. 24, 2013 — summarised

The competitive view

Every part on Nightmare Rex SW145SD is rated outclassed for today's competitive scene, with only the Semi-Defense bottom credited with any remaining niche; the set is better suited to collectors than battlers. The Hasbro release is considered inferior to the Takara Tomy version, and Rex's attack potential is described as offering some use rather than none.
