Task and Armes fight to a series tie, and Task points Armes toward a mountain range said to hold the truth about the BeyRaiderz. There, Sho is hurt shielding Rachel from an avalanche while Jimmy and Rachel recount the legend of undefeated warriors Flame and Tempest, revealing the series' opening battle as that very legend. With Sho injured, Ricky fights Armes on an icy arena and loses when his Beyblade is buried in an avalanche; Armes' Guardian Leviathan awakens, but he then sides with Task instead of Sho's group.
