Beywarriors: Cyborg (toyline)

Hasbro planned this 2014 line as the follow-up to the Beywarriors: Shogun Steel toyline that launched the prior year, pairing half-organic, half-mechanical warrior figures with an accompanying cartoon commissioned by Nelvana and produced by d-rights. A worldwide rollout across more than eighty countries was scheduled for fall 2014, and while the cartoon aired on time, the toys themselves never reached shelves, scrapped along with the rest of that Metal Series generation's toylines. Only a single assortment, a duel two-pack case, ever got as far as a product listing.

  • Its press-release tagline, describing the figures as half-creature, half-machine warriors, echoes RoboCop's 1987 tagline about being part man, part machine, all cop.
  • The cancellation year, 2014, matched the year of that same film's remake.
  • It is the only Beywarriors line whose logo drops Samurai Ifrit's spirit artwork, a first since Beyblade: Shogun Steel began.
