Flame (Company)

This Chinese manufacturer turns out bootleg tops built to pass as licensed Burst Series releases, right down to packaging that copies Takara Tomy's box art closely enough to fool a quick glance. Differences show up mainly in the printed logo and print quality, and the molds themselves often match real parts closely. Where the copies fall short is materials: the plastic runs thin and the metal Discs are of lower quality, with testing turning up lead in some units. Tournaments treat anything made by Flame or other bootleg makers as barred equipment.
