Biography

Taro Tate is Max Tate's father and, in Bakuten Shoot Beyblade: Rising, father to Max's younger sister Charlotte as well. A jovial, generous Beyblade shop owner in Japan with a practice dish on his shop floor, he freely helps Tyson, Max, and the rest of the Bladebreakers tune their Beyblades. His marriage to American blader Judy Tate remains amicable despite living apart, her career keeping her from relocating to Japan with him and Max.
