Biography

Gigante is a hulking but soft-hearted member of the villainous Dominators in BeyWheelz, younger brother to the smaller David. Wielding River Beast Gil, he intimidates rivals despite underlying timidity, staying loyal to David even after his brother uses him as a tool to win the brutal Judgement Bey match. Torn between loyalty and doubt, Gigante eventually refuses to keep fighting alongside David and Jake, defects, and helps Team Estrella defeat his former allies using their combined special move, Burning Tornado.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

True to his name, Gigante is unusually large and heavily muscled for his age. He wears a green shirt under an orange jacket, both trimmed in deep blue, with slim brown trousers that shift to matching blue at the heel and tuck into his sneakers. He accessorises with a wide gold chain and spiked shoulder chokers.

Calm on the surface but impulsive underneath, Gigante is happy to use his size to intimidate anyone smaller, a natural bully that pulls him toward the Dominators. He is independent-minded yet respectful enough to follow orders, and turns cocky and aggressive once a battle is underway. Beneath it all he genuinely cares for his older brother David.

Huge power that Leon still outlasted, and a timid streak that holds him back until he finally defies his brother and switches sides.

Claims We Could Not Check

  • Name means 'Giant' in Spanish, matching his large build.
  • Resembles Aguma from Beyblade: Metal Fury.
  • Seen as BeyWheelz' counterpart to Argo Garcia — both pair a Gil-user with a Herculeo-using sibling — though Gigante is the younger brother while Argo is the elder.
  • Has an unusually strong launch, comparable to Klaus of Team Excalibur.
