Biography

Delta Zakuro, Delta Akane in Japan, is Beyblade Burst Rise's deuteragonist and one of the Risen 3, wielding the demonic dual-spin Bey Venom/Erase Devolos. Cold, arrogant, and dismissive of Dante Koryu at BC Sol, he chases ever-stronger opponents to prove he alone deserves to shine, which costs him Devolos when Arthur Peregrine destroys it. Devastated, he wanders in despair until Valt Aoi lifts his spirits, letting him evolve the wreckage into Master Devolos and finally accept Dante's friendship. He later resurfaces in the Burst manga as a Legendary Blader ranked S-Tier #9, piloting the Lightning Beys Demise and Abyss Devolos.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Tall and pale-skinned, he has red eyes and sea-green hair that's smooth on one side and shaggy on the other, with long bangs falling over the left side of his face. He dresses in a white shirt with a deep crimson tie, a black vest with no buttons, long grey trousers, black loafers, and a red jacket lined in pink with dark-red borders and cuffs, cinched with a cerulean belt. His left eye normally peeks out from beneath his hair and glows with a crimson aura when he syncs with Venom, or later Erase, Devolos; after that Bey's destruction the eye vanishes behind his hair entirely, only becoming visible again once his confidence is restored.

Calm and withdrawn in the mould of Shu or Fubuki, he treats training as serious business and rarely cracks a smile, though a powerful Bey can pull a smirk out of him. Pride curdles into real arrogance for a stretch — convinced only he deserves to shine, he picks fights above his level to prove it, a streak that costs him his Bey and leaves him wandering in despair. Valt's encouragement pulls him back from that low point, and evolving his partner alongside it softens him into someone genuinely warmer, capable of a real smile and of tolerating Dante's affection rather than brushing it off. Joining a new team completes the shift: the reserve never fully leaves him, but he opens up enough to count his former rivals among his friends.
