Biography
Cenotaph is the Dark Bladers' mummy and the first of the four to strike, cornering Kai in London before the rest of the team knows the group exists. His bit-beast Sarcophalon is fittingly tomb-themed and he fights with the patient, suffocating style of something with all the time in the world. He is the schemer of the group on the grounds that he does the work nobody else will, and he has an unpleasant voice he enjoys using to frighten people, Kenny above all. Losing to Enrique is what turned him into a mummy. Kai handles him, but the encounter announces that the European leg will be no holiday; he is back for the tunnel and the Eiffel Tower, and at Robert's castle at the end.

Beyblade (2001)
Dark Bladers
Cenotaph strikes first, cornering Kai alone on a London street before anyone else on the team knows the Dark Bladers exist. His fight is patient and suffocating rather than fast, Sarcophalon closing a match the way a tomb closes over something, and he spends as much of it frightening Kenny with his voice as actually blading. Kai beats him, but the ambush does its job: it tells the Bladebreakers that Europe will not be easy. Cenotaph returns for the Channel Tunnel fight and again under the Eiffel Tower as part of the full group attack, losing both times, and he is still at Sanguinex's side when the Dark Bladers gather at Robert's castle. Losing to Enrique made him a mummy, and the grudge behind it never leaves him.
