Biography

Blindt DeVoy is the last of the Risen 3 in Beyblade Burst Rise, an introverted, eccentric Blading 'artist' obsessed with drawing out his opponents' true fighting spirit before literally painting them. He avoids rank and formal competition, caring only about creative battles, and later joins the villainous Inferno group after being fascinated by Arthur Peregrine's dark personality, achieving a partial Dark-Flux of his own. Despite his artistic pretensions, he loses every documented on-screen match with his Beyblade, Dusk Balkesh, making him unique among Burst's named Bey owners for having zero recorded wins.

Appearance and personality

What They Look Like, and How They Behave

Of average height, Blindt has blue eyes set off by long lashes and violet hair arranged into five conical ringlets. His clothing borrows from the late Baroque period: a moss-green frock coat trimmed with pearl embroidery, a white cravat pinned with a red brooch, a bright green justacorps edged in gold at the sleeves, and a matching green top hat. He completes the outfit with brown breeches, white stockings, white heeled shoes buckled in gold, and white gloves.

Withdrawn and eccentric, Blindt treats Beyblade as art rather than sport — he skipped the European championship outright because he will only face opponents who spark his creativity, and guarding that artistic integrity matters more to him than rankings or fitting in. In battle he gets swept up chasing inspiration, reading the abstract fighting spirit of an opponent the way a painter studies a model, and he is drawn especially to darker spirits, in bladers like Delta and Arthur from Hell. Where other bladers focus on their own results, Blindt fixates on the person across from him, working to strip away pretence and expose their true heart before he considers the contest finished.
