Biography

The Bat, who calls himself the Dark Emperor, is the island squad member assigned to Ray: bat-wing hair, night-vision goggles, and an arena that is a pitch-dark cave where his blade Batranzer and his own adapted senses are meant to settle it. Ray answers by blading on hearing and instinct, which turns the ambush into a demonstration of why Driger's owner is the calmest of the four. He resurfaces for a moment in the fifth episode of G-Revolution alongside Chameleon, and does nothing else.

Appearance

What They Look Like

Bat's dark blue hair is styled into shapes resembling bat wings, and he wears night-vision goggles as a signature accessory. Like the rest of his team, he wears an olive shirt.

Beyblade V-Force (2002)

Team Psykick (island squad)

Calling himself the Dark Emperor, Bat corners Ray for the island trial on the darkest ground Doctor B controls: a cave stadium engineered so ordinary sight is useless. Night-vision goggles, ambush lighting, and Batranzer's disorienting attacks are supposed to turn the blackout into a trap that no visiting blader can read. Ray never fights the dark directly — he drops the reliance on eyesight altogether, tracking Batranzer by the sound of its spin and the shift of air around it, and answers every strike on instinct alone. The gap between the two approaches widens as the match goes on, and Bat's home-field advantage collapses into the clearest proof yet that Driger's owner blades better than anyone panics.
