Biography

Chameleon is the first of Doctor B's island bladers to fight, taking Max in a jungle stadium where camouflage and misdirection are the whole game — his blade blends into the ground the way his namesake does. His Collision card calls him a tricky enemy and the description fits: he hides in the undergrowth and strikes when Max's guard slips. Draciel's defence holds, and Max breaks through the bit-beast capture system to win. The match sets the island's pattern, each Bladebreaker beating a specialist on a stage built against him. He appears once more in the fifth episode of G-Revolution, with Bat.

Beyblade V-Force (2002)

Team Psykick (island squad)

Doctor B sends Chameleon out first against the Bladebreakers, staging the match in a jungle arena built for exactly his trick: a blade that melts into leaf litter and bark the way the lizard itself disappears. Max walks in without knowing where the next strike will come from, and the camouflage buys several clean openings before Draciel's defense settles enough to read the pattern underneath it. The match turns when Max forces apart the bit-beast capture rig hidden in the stadium floor, stripping away the trap that was supposed to seal his loss, and rides that break to a win. The result sets the shape of the whole island: every specialist gets one home-field trick, and every Bladebreaker finds the seam in it before the day is out.
