About This Part

Phoenix, called Phoenic in Japan, is a three-sided Warrior Wheel built from three rightward-facing wings, each carrying phoenix heads of varying size alongside smooth, leftward-pointing feathers. Takara Tomy debuted it in Japan on April 21, 2012 with the BBG-09 Zero-G Random Booster Vol. 1 Thief Phoenic E230GCF, and Hasbro released it west in August 2013 as the SS-09 Thief Phoenix E230GCF Starter Pack. The vertical feather lines running up the top edge create a jagged shape suited to Attack builds.

In Play

The community credits Phoenix with plenty of contact points and real Smash Attack potential, but rates the piece too light on its own to compete; even paired with the Thief Element Wheel it reaches only about 35.1 grams, leaving it well behind top attack Fusion Wheels such as Flash, Variares and Blitz.
