About This Part
Right SG (Bearing Version) is a Spin Gear released as part of the Spin Gear System, debuting with Wolborg at a weight of 6 grams. Its free-spinning, bearing-supported shaft follows the same idea as Metal Dragoon's Bearing Stinger, cutting the spin lost when a Beyblade takes a hit, though the trade-off for being able to swap in a Left SG shell is that its casing only fits one bearing rather than the Bearing Stinger's two — a limit that only the casings of Burning Kerberous and Takara's Zeus overcome, even though neither pairs well with this particular shaft. Hasbro's release of the tip is also noticeably more aggressive than Takara's, a difference traced to Takara's mold having a sharper point.
In Play
The community rates this shaft as the one genuinely useful part on Wolborg, and it became a mainstay of Zombie combinations across two generations of the archetype: an early build pairs it with Tiger Defenser, Wide Survivor and Defense Grip Base 2, while a later one swaps in Twin Horn, Defense Ring and Customize Grip Base for extra Life After Death.
- Debuted with the release of Wolborg.
- Hasbro's version of the tip plays noticeably more aggressively than Takara's, which the community attributes to Takara's mold being more pointed.
