About This Part
Neo Right SG (South Magnecore (Dranzer V Version)) is a Spin Gear released as part of the Magnacore System, debuting alongside Dranzer V. Its South Magnecore sits the magnet higher inside the core on small internal protrusions and shortens both the gear section at the base and the cylinder it wraps, letting the lower half of the part nest more snugly and sit noticeably shorter than a regular Magnecore. That reduced height was built to improve Volcano Change Base, and the same shortened lower section also lets the tips of Magne Flat Base, SG Grip Base and Customize Grip Base sit a touch higher when swapped in.
In Play
The height drop is a mixed blessing for Customize Grip Base, the only one of those three tips the community rates as competitive: the lowered tip can bring the shaft section into contact with the stadium floor early in a match, hurting later movement, and because no other Base lets Support Parts pair with that tip, builders must choose between extra height offset by Attack Rings and Support Parts or the shorter but weaker Magne Flat Base and SG Grip Base — with Grip Base outperforming both for right-spin builds in this height range, leaving the main payoff of this Magnecore variant to left-spin customizations that lean on Support Parts for weight distribution and Life After Death.
- Debuted with the release of Dranzer V.
